It's been long Bamenda hadn't vibrated with such flavour.

The coming of the Mützig star competition in the heart of the town was seen as a blessing to "Abakwa" music lovers.

By 7pm this 28 May 2009, the municipal stadium was packed full with people from all categories and works of life.

On scene, the Mützig band began the usual warming up and as time unfolded, the temperature began rising and on scene, pleasant surprises: Richard King, prominent artiste and son of the soil gave the public a taste of his slows.

Former winners of the competition went on stage to boost the morale of today's competitors.

It was high time for the Mützig star competitors to move on stage. In their diversed melodies, they made music flow into the veins of Mützig lovers.

The public cheered them by raising up their Mützig bottles.

This event will remain in the memories of "Abakwa" people as one which brought "Music for Mützig lovers"
